Both the Software Development Kit (SDK) release and the Runtime release of NonStop DOM run on any Tandem NonStop system using RISC technology. The system must be running the Tandem NonStop Kernel version D42 or later or the G05 S-series system or later. If you intend to use C++ exceptions, we strongly recommend that you use a D46 or G06 version of the operating system.
In addition to this hardware, your system should also have roughly 20 megabytes of disk storage available for the installation of either the SDK or the Runtime version of NonStop DOM.
Each release of NonStop DOM 2.0 (the SDK and the Runtime release) contains three editions of the software package. They are:
