Miscellaneous Configuration Items

You can use this dialog to configure miscellaneous items for the EMWAC Internet Mail Services.

Copy local failure reports to postmaster
If you check this box, then the postmaster will be sent a copy of any failure reports for local users only.

SMTP Gateway Host
You can specify the host name (or the IP address) of an SMTP server to which all non-local mail will be sent. This may be useful if for instance you are using IMS within a company which stipulates that all outside mail must go through a company-wide mail gateway. Default: no gateway.

Accept Mail For
In some circumstances it is difficult for IMS to know which mail domains to treat as local. You may specify a list of domains which SMTPDS will assume to be "local" - ie mail to someone@domain, where domain is in this list, will be delivered to local user someone.
