Formal Command Syntax of EMWAC Internet Mail Services
The formal description of the command options for the services is as follows.
Syntax
servicename [-REMOVE | -INSTALL] [-VERSION] [-IPADDRESS]
where servicename stands for one of the following:
SMTPRS
SMTPDS
POP3S
Description
The SMTPRS command installs or removes the SMTP Receiver.
The SMTPDS command installs or removes the SMTP Delivery Agent.
The POP3S command installs or removes the POP3 Server.
Options
- -INSTALL
- Add the service to the list of installed services.
Make sure you are executing a copy of servicename.EXE
which you aren't planning to delete later.
- -REMOVE
- Remove the service from the list of installed
services. This will also delete the service's
configuration information from the Registry.
- -VERSION
- Report the version number of the service.
- -IPADDRESS
- Report the IP addresses and corresponding host names which the
service regards as "local".
